As the history of women's involvement in music production, distribution and broadcasting continues to be eroded, it has become increasingly important to preserve and document women's accomplishments in music.

Institutions such as Femmeafrica and Audiogirlafrica are taking a step further to champion and empower aspiring 'women in music' by creating brilliant initiatives that aim to help efficiently equip them with essential audio technology skills and technical training on music production, studio engineering and djing; all in a bid to both increase visibility and inspire possibility.

For 'ELEMENT RADIO Spotlight 004' , we are celebrating some expert conductors of the dancefloor who propagate freedom and expression with every set they perform. As they instill infinite joy with their mixes and reload epic tracks, these Djs never fail to maintain the constant, looping elation within their audiences during their performances.
